Songwriting
I have been writing music and lyrics since I was 13 years old. I love expression and performing is a freeing experience. In the beginning, it was nothing more than a hobby to pass the time but has since developed into much more.
I try and write songs that speak to my heart and hope that they speak to others as well. Here are a few examples of some of my favorites. I record on an iPad so the quality isn't great, but I appreciate simplicity.

The song you are hearing is called "Shenandoah Dreams". I wrote this in honor of a friend I had who was involved in a fatal car crash. The Shenandoah valley is one of my favorite hiking spots and somehow when life throws me a curve I can close my eyes, return to that sacred place, and feel peace.

"My Redemption"
This song is about the beauty of destruction. Sometimes things need to be broken apart before they can assimilate into something beautiful. As usual, my little girl is helping in the background!

"Summer Rain"
Everybody loves a song about drinking a bit too much and taking a long hike to who knows where. And honestly, any song that works the town "Spokane" into it has to be a winner.
“If my decomposing carcass helps nourish the roots of a juniper tree or the wings of a vulture—that is immortality enough for me. And as much as anyone deserves.” ― Edward Abbey, Desert Solitaire
